Katarzyna Slavianska-Kucz - Graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She works in painting, printmaking and book illustration. She cooperates with literary and music publishers, creating illustrations for such items as: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Treasure Island, The Adventures of Huck, Memories of a Blue Uniform. She is a member of the Association of Artists. She has exhibited her works in Warsaw, Katowice, Maastricht, among others. Since 1998 she has participated in exhibitions of Contemporary Polish Book Art and FRANKFURT 2000 and PRO BOLONIA. She was awarded 2nd prize in the competition for a poster for the Music Celebration and 1st prize in the competition Praga North at Christmas 2001. She is the author of children's fairy tales, which she illustrates herself.
