Maria Husarska - She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow at the Faculty of Painting. A series of graduation paintings, was presented during an exhibition at the Palace of Art and awarded by the Society of Friends of Jan Matejko during a group exhibition at the Jan Matejko House. The artist's latest series of paintings, HopeFull, was presented during two exhibitions at the Arsene Wiatrak Gallery in Cracow. Maria Husarska's paintings are in private collections in the US, London and Kyoto, Japan. The artist works in painting, photography, film and ceramics. Maria Husarska's paintings are characterized by an abstract and geometric style, full of energy, contrasts and colors. In both painting and ceramics, she draws inspiration from all kinds of organic forms and from observations of nature and animals in motion, which she then depicts in a simplified way in her works.
